Islamabad, Oct 15: Secure Logistics Group Secures Landmark Deal to Provide Transport Services to Maersk

Maersk West and Central Asia Limited (Maersk) has agreed to receive transport services from Secure Logistics Group Limited (PSX: SLGL), the business said on Tuesday to the primary stock exchange.

SLG’s goals to become a top domestic logistic services provider are aligned with this corporate onboarding of SLG as one of the Transport Service Provider[s] to Maersk, according to the stock filing.

In relation to a comparable agreement under SLG’s TIR License, whereby the business will offer comparable services to Maersk beginning with the Regional Markets, which include the Central Asian nations, SLGL and Maersk are also in talks.

The filing further stated, “This notification is made in compliance with all applicable regulations and seeks to update our esteemed shareholders and the public on the most recent advancements in our business operations.

SLGL’s share price on the exchange was Rs. 15.68 at the time of filing, up 2.96 percent or Rs. 0.45 with more than 2.22 million shares on Tuesday.
