This forward-thinking initiative is designed to improve women’s access to safe, affordable, and independent travel across the province.

By enhancing mobility, the scheme promotes both gender equality and economic participation.

Who Can Apply? — Eligibility Details

To take advantage of this empowering offer, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Be a permanent domicile holder of Sindh province

  • Be a female student or employed woman

  • Have a valid two-wheeler or car driving license

  • Must not sell or lease the scooty for a minimum of seven years

  • Clear a basic road safety test if selected through the draw

The government specifically designed this plan to support working women and female students by easing their daily commuting challenges.

Free Training and Road Safety Sessions

To ensure safety and boost riding confidence, the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) will conduct free training workshops across multiple districts.

Transparent Balloting & Monitoring

Distribution of scooties will be executed through an open and unbiased lottery system, closely observed by representatives from the print and digital media.

A specially designated committee—featuring officials from the Excise, Finance, Transport, and Media departments—will supervise the entire process to guarantee transparency and equity.
