Islamabad, Nov 4: Sports Goods Exports Rise by 2.13%, Reaching USD 93.09 Million. Compared to the export of the same months last year, the country’s export of sporting products increased by 2.13 percent in the first three months of the current fiscal year (2024–25).
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the nation’s exports of sporting goods totaled US$ 93.087 million in July-September 2024–2025 compared to US$ 91.148 million in July–September 2023–2024, indicating a 2.13 percent increase. Within the sports goods category, football exports increased by 1.95 percent, from US$55.260 million to US$56.338 million this year.
According to PBS data, the exports of gloves also grew by 7.92 percent, rising from US$ 14.636 million to US$ 15.795 million this year. All other sports products exports also fell 1.40 percent to US$ 21.252 million from US$ 20.954 million the previous year.However, compared to the export of the same month previous year, the sports products export in September 2024 decreased 1.90 percent on an annual basis.
In September 2024, sports goods exports totaled US$31.104 million, compared to US$31.705 million in September 2023. While the export of footballs saw a 9.76 percent decline during the month, the export of gloves and all other sports goods rose by 24.74 and 0.25 percent, respectively.
In the meantime, sports products exports decreased 4.66 percent month over month in September 2024 compared to US$ 32.624 million in August 2024, according to PBS estimates.
Glove exports rose by 38.40 percent on a month-over-month basis, while football and other sports commodity exports fell by 15.82 and 0.13 percent, respectively.
