Islamabad, Aug 12: Chinese and Pakistani businesses have collaborated to produce an electric motorcycle with interchangeable batteries, marking a significant advancement towards environmentally sustainable transportation. Keep in mind that several companies have previously introduced electric bikes with interchangeable batteries. A comparable project is Ezbike.

As per a report published by Gwadar Pro, this collaboration is expected to augment the electric vehicle (EV) industry in both nations. Business consultant Hammad Khalid has revealed an exciting new partnership between China’s EGO New Green Energy Technology Limited and Pakistan’s Super Asia Motors Pvt Ltd.

The alliance wants to introduce a state-of-the-art electric motorcycle designed for both personal and commercial use that has swappable batteries. They also intend to introduce this technology to the commercial three-wheeler sector. The swappable battery solution, according to Hammad Khalid, allows customers to swap out an empty battery for a fully charged one in just ten seconds.

With two batteries, the new motorcycle can travel 200 km at a top speed of 90 km/h. It also has interchangeable solar-powered batteries that can be purchased at gas stations. Additionally, it may result in fuel savings of up to 70% every kilometer.

“This innovative project aims to develop parts and components locally while introducing cutting-edge technology to Pakistan. It also demonstrates our continuous dedication to generating jobs and sustainable energy in Pakistan,” continued Hammad.

China and Pakistan have been working together to promote electric motorcycles in an effort to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmentally friendly transportation in recent years. A number of Chinese companies are collaborating with regional Pakistani companies to foster the expansion of Pakistan’s electric car industry.
