Islamabad, Oct 23: Teachers Face Action for Missing Exam Duties in Lahore
Muhammad Adnan Khan, the chairman of the Rawalpindi Educational Board, has demanded an investigation under the PEEDA Act into 207 instructors who neglected their examination responsibilities for the Intermediate Second Annual Supplementary exams.
This decision was made in response to the instructors’ unwillingness to carry out their designated exam-related responsibilities, which the Punjab government has deemed essential services. By the deadline of October 21, the teachers who were assigned to supervise the Intermediate Second Annual exams failed to show up at their designated testing locations.
The Commissioner of Rawalpindi has instructed the Chief Executive Officers of every district to begin procedures under the PEEDA Act 2006 in response to the chairman’s suggestion.
