Islamabad, Nov 15: Telenor Pakistan CEO Inspires NUST Graduates to Prioritize Resilience and Drive Innovation. In recognition of the efforts and achievements of the graduating class of 2024, Khurrum Ashfaque, CEO of Telenor Pakistan, gave a keynote address at the 15th convocation of NUST Business School.
Speaking to the audience, Khurrum praised the graduates as “torchbearers of a legacy that continues to shine brightly,” congratulating them on achieving this significant milestone and recognizing NUST’s historic reputation for excellence.
Khurrum encouraged the graduates to confidently take advantage of the chances and challenges of the future, stressing that those who tackle the uncertain path ahead with fortitude and adaptation can find opportunities.
Khurrum reminded them that they are bringing talents and information that have been meticulously developed over years of dedication into the world, saying, “Each of you holds the potential to shape a new future.”
He urged graduates to have an attitude of constant learning and development and to endure through setbacks. He emphasized that innovation is about finding opportunities where others see barriers, not merely coming up with new goods and solutions.
Speaking on Pakistan’s present employment situation, Khurrum acknowledged the difficulties caused by the skills gap, unemployment, and lack of opportunity, saying that although these facts may appear overwhelming,
Those with both technical know-how and critical people skills, such as leadership, teamwork, and communication, have a lot of potential. “Today’s job market requires more than just knowledge,” he continued.
He urged the graduates to use their education to make a significant difference as he wrapped up his remarks. In his parting remarks, he congratulated each graduate and urged them to approach the working world with tenacity, originality, and a willingness to spearhead advancement in whichever sector they decide to pursue.
With the class of 2024, teachers, and guests looking to the future with hope that this generation would continue NUST’s legacy of excellence and bring about significant change in Pakistan and beyond, the event was filled with enthusiasm and optimism.
