Installing solar power systems for 4.5 million people who use up to 500 units of energy has been approved by the Punjab cabinet. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presided over the 11th cabinet meeting, where this decision was reached.

According to Maryam Nawaz, “We are bringing solar systems to 4.5 million consumers who use up to 500 units.” “People are nervous because their electricity prices are rising. My team and I have come up with a solution.

The appointment of the University of Health Sciences to administer the MD CAT 2024 test and the adoption of a standard edition of the Holy Quran were both authorized by the cabinet. They also eliminated the two-year Pharmacy Assistant Course and adopted a new procedure for selecting college principals and divisional directors of education.

The cabinet changed the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Ordinance 2002 to prohibit inferior oil in order to save the environment. In addition, they created a Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate inside the Department of Law and Parliamentary Affairs and modified the Punjab Mining Concession Rules 2002.

The government extended the Walled City of Lahore Authority to the whole of Punjab, revised the Punjab Police Service Rules, and inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Food Program. They named temporary and permanent presidents after accepting the resignation of the president of Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited.
