According to Sardar Sarfraz, the chief meteorologist of the nation, today’s high could be 51 degrees.Ambulances rushed people to hospitals in the southern province of Sindh, and all major towns have temporary heat relief camps established up.

As the heatwave began last week, the Pakistani government issued an order for the temporary closure of schools, postponed exams, and declared emergencies at hospitals.Authorities said the high temperatures to climate change and stated that they were up to eight degrees Celsius above average for this time of summer.
