Islamabad, Sep 9: Oxford Pakistan Programme  Hamid Ismail Foundation is still carrying out its important work of helping Pakistani students pursue higher education at prestigious international universities.

The Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s new scholarship for Ayeda Hamed, a Princeton alumna who plans to attend Oxford for her M.Phil. in development studies.

Ayeda’s research will center on South Asian economic development policy solutions, in line with the Foundation’s mission to promote academic excellence and advance Pakistan. 

By working together to co-sponsor this scholarship, the Malala Fund and the Hamid Ismail Foundation are demonstrating their common commitment to empowering young women and expanding education in underserved areas.

Furthermore, Ayeda Hamed will receive vital support from the Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP), which will expedite her academic path and enhance her influence.

By offering these scholarships, we are investing in Pakistan’s future as well as fostering individual aspirations. We are fostering the next wave of leaders, thinkers, and change agents by giving bright young minds the chance to pursue higher education.

The future of our country rests on the education and empowerment of its youth; thus, our mission is to make sure that no bright mind is left behind because of financial limitations,” stated Hamid Ismail, President of the Hamid Ismail Foundation.

Ayeda Hamed is the latest scholar to join the distinguished group of researchers funded by the OPP, Malala Fund, and Hamid Ismail Foundation. These organizations are making tremendous progress in improving educational options for gifted Pakistani students.
