Islamabad, Oct 28: Toyota Indus Motors Halts Production
On Monday, Toyota Indus Motors Company Limited (PSX: INDU) notified the primary stock exchange of its decision to temporarily halt operations at its production facility from October 29, 2024, to October 31, 2024, inclusive.
According to the statement, the business is now dealing with persistent supply chain issues and low levels of raw material and component inventory.
As a result, there are currently insufficient parts and components needed to produce vehicles. Consequently, the business is unable to fulfill its production needs.
“Consequently, the Company has decided to temporarily suspend operations at its production plant from October 29, 2024, to October 31, 2024, both days inclusive,” the filing added
