Islamabad, Oct 20: Traders Highlight SCO’s Potential to Unlock New Economic Growth and Investment Opportunities in Pakistan. According to Hafiz Umair Saeed, president of the Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry, the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference in Pakistan would yield important outcomes and create new opportunities for investment and economic growth in the nation, APP reported on Sunday.

He said that China and Pakistan were working to create the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) after the European Union in a statement released here on Sunday. He expressed optimism that Asia would have a wealthy and happy future.

He underlined the significance of Asian nations coming together to address global issues and advance the region’s economy and development, pointing to better times ahead. He also mentioned that the SCO’s CPEC-II launch would pave the way for new avenues for economic growth and prosperity, in line with the government’s constructive economic initiatives.

He added that he hoped the SCO would not only concentrate on economic issues but also cooperate to eradicate terrorism from the region and play a positive role in settling international conflicts. “We can only advance and enhance the region’s social and economic conditions by uniting,” he said.
