Islamabad, Feb 22: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy has issued updated visa guidelines for Pakistani nationals intending to travel to the UAE. These revised instructions detail the necessary documentation, application procedures, and specific provisions for minors.

According to an embassy spokesperson, the visa processing fee is set at $69 per applicant. Applicants seeking visit, tourist, or family visas are required to submit their applications online, whereas employment visas follow a distinct process. Upon submission, applicants will receive a notification regarding their appointment at the embassy or designated visa center.

Key Visa Requirements:

  • Visa Application Proof: A copy of the submitted application must be presented.
  • Bank Statement: A six-month bank statement, duly signed and stamped, is mandatory, reflecting a minimum balance of $5,000.
  • Accommodation Proof: Evidence of accommodation, such as a hotel reservation, rental agreement, or confirmation of residence with relatives or friends, is required.
  • Return Ticket: A confirmed return flight ticket is essential.
  • Identification Documents: The original National Identity Card (NIC) or passport, with a validity of at least six months, must be provided.
  • Visa Fee Payment: The $69 fee should be deposited into a designated Al-Falah Bank account, and the original payment receipt must be presented at the visa center.

Visa Process for Minors:

The embassy has outlined specific requirements based on the age of minor applicants:

  • Under 5 Years: Personal attendance at the visa center is not required. A passport-sized photograph with a white background should be submitted.
  • Ages 6 to 15: Applicants need not bring a photograph; it will be captured at the visa center.
  • Ages 15 and Above: The application process mirrors that of adult applicants.

Additionally, applicants aged 5 years and older must undergo biometric verification at the visa center to complete their application process.

These updated guidelines aim to streamline the visa application process and ensure clarity for Pakistani travelers planning to visit the UAE.
