Islamabad, Aug 5: Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi has disputed any restrictions of the kind that have been reported concerning the denial of visas to Pakistanis for travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).The response from the Emirati envoy followed concerns that Sindhi citizens were having trouble obtaining UAE visas.

The ambassador said in a Monday video interview that all the amenities required are being offered to Pakistani businesspeople, laborers, and medical tourists visiting Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other locations.

The robust cultural, religious, and commercial ties that have existed for more than 50 years between Pakistan and the Gulf country were highlighted by Dr. Remeithi. “The UAE offers its Pakistani brothers and sisters 100% of the facilities they need to obtain visas.”

Nonetheless, Dr. Remeithi stated that the Karachi Consulate has introduced a unique awareness program for those visiting the United Arab Emirates. In order to avoid problems, he emphasized that tourists should pack their own luggage and refrain from bringing any things that are forbidden.

In a few days, he added, the UAE would introduce a new program for the business community on both sides. As part of this program, the UAE consulate will offer all-inclusive services to prospective visitors who wish to come to the nation on business or who wish to introduce UAE enterprises to Pakistan.
