Islamabad, Nov 26: UAE Reiterates No Visa Restrictions Imposed on Pakistani Nationals. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has vehemently denied rumors that it has ceased granting visas to Pakistani nationals. “False claims have circulated for the past two years that the UAE is not issuing visas to Pakistanis. This is untrue,” said UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi at an event in Karachi.

He advised anyone seeking visas to submit their applications in person at UAE visa offices. Dr. Remeithi underlined, “We have clear directives from our leadership to stand with Pakistan,” reinforcing the UAE’s close connections with Pakistan.

In addition, he alluded to the substantial investment prospects that lie ahead, with noteworthy advancements anticipated in the coming months. The consul general’s comments come after Pakistan’s Embassy recently denied media reports that claimed the UAE government released a document detailing limits on Pakistani nationals’ ability to get visas. According to these speculations, which both governments have categorically denied, the proposal was considered at a cabinet meeting in the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE government has previously addressed such issues. In August, Dr. Remeithi cautioned Pakistani expatriates in the United Arab Emirates against disseminating propaganda or misleading narratives on the internet. He emphasized that social media activity, whether favorable or unfavorable, creates a digital trail that may influence visa renewals or approvals.
