Islamabad, Dec 17: Ufone 4G, a leading telecommunications provider in Pakistan, has partnered with Jubilee Insurance to introduce the JGI Insurance Products for Ufone customers. The partnership was officially announced during a signing ceremony at the PTCL Group HQ in Islamabad.

Personal Accident Insurance: This plan offers coverage for accidental death and permanent disabilities, with a lumpsum benefit of up to PKR 2,000,000. Bill Protector Insurance: This coverage includes bills for utility expenses, housing fees, mobile bills, and petrol/diesel costs in case of accidental death or total permanent disability. The payout ranges from PKR 20,000 per month (for up to 3 months) to PKR 70,000 per month (for up to 12 months), depending on the chosen plan.

Ufone customers can easily subscribe to these insurance plans by visiting the subscription portal here.  After entering their Ufone number and personal details, users will receive a confirmation SMS upon successful processing, activating the chosen coverage.

Syed Atif Raza, Group Chief Commercial Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Ufone’s commitment to offering innovative services that enhance customers’ lives beyond connectivity.

Azfar Arshad, Chief Operating Officer at Jubilee Insurance, emphasized that this collaboration leverages digital technology to make insurance accessible and affordable for Ufone customers, offering comprehensive protection with the added benefit of premium deductions directly from the mobile balance.

The insurance products are available on multiple platforms, including Desktop, Tablet, Android, and iOS, for both Prepaid and Postpaid customers. Pricing starts as low as Rs 1/day for Bill Protector plans and Rs 2/day for Personal Accident plans, with all costs inclusive of taxes.

This initiative reflects Ufone 4G’s commitment to enhancing customer well-being by providing financial security and peace of mind alongside its core connectivity services.
