Islamabad, Aug 30: Babusar Top in the Kaghan Valley has received one inch of snowfall, marking the first snowfall of the year. Visitors are delighted by the dramatic drop in temperature brought on by the snowfall, which also heralds the coming of winter in the region.

For a second day, there was constant heavy rain in the Kaghan Valley and Balakot, which led to Manor Nullah overflowing again and flooding Mahandri Bazaar.Significant waterlogging has occurred in the area as a result of the situation being made worse by the continuous downpour.

Traffic was temporarily stopped beyond Mahandri due to rising water levels. After the floods subsided, Kaghan Valley was once again accessible. The Kaghan Highway was previously stopped for several hours due to floods in Bhangian Nullah, which resulted in lengthy traffic lines on both sides of the street.

According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, there will be rain for an additional two days. Tourists and travelers are encouraged by authorities to stay away from unnecessary travels and drive very carefully at this time.
