Islamabad, Oct 2: Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela favorite cricketer has stirred social media once again by naming young Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah.
In a viral video from the IIFA 2024 red carpet, Rautela responded to a question about her favorite Pakistani player, saying, “They have a good team. Naseem is good.”
This revelation reignited discussions on social media, with fans recalling her admiration for Naseem Shah. Last year, Rautela garnered attention when she extended birthday wishes to Shah on his 20th birthday and congratulated him on receiving an honorary DSP rank.
However, Naseem later clarified that he did not personally acknowledge her wishes, as he is not active on social media and his account admin thanked the well-wishers on his behalf.
In May, Urvashi Rautela favorite cricketer again sparked a debate when she shared a fan-made video featuring both her and Naseem Shah, which led to widespread attention.
When asked about the video, Naseem Shah remarked that he was unaware of the Bollywood actress and did not pay attention to such social media content, focusing instead on his performance on the field.
This is not the first instance where Urvashi has been associated with Naseem Shah in the media. Urvashi had also shared a fan made video featuring her and Naseem smiling during a match on her official Instagram handle which instantly sparked a buzz on social media.
