Islamabad, Mar 6, 2025: A groundbreaking mobile application has been introduced in Pakistan to offer legal support to its citizens. Named ‘Vakeel Online App,’ this digital platform seamlessly connects individuals with legal professionals through an efficient online portal.
The official inauguration of Vakeel Online took place in Islamabad, where Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar highlighted its significance.
He emphasized that the app aims to provide legal assistance, especially for individuals who lack the financial resources to access professional legal aid.
During the same event, German Ambassador Alfred Grannas acknowledged the overwhelming public response to the initiative.
Minister Tarar disclosed that the concept and development of this application began in 2020.
To date, Vakeel Online has successfully reached approximately 700,000 users across the country, reflecting a strong awareness and demand for digital legal solutions.
Currently, the platform has officially registered 1,000 lawyers, while many others are undergoing verification.
The app allows users to register either as legal professionals or as clients. It offers an intuitive search function that enables individuals to find lawyers specializing in various fields, including criminal law, cyber law, property disputes, and family-related legal matters.

A built-in chat system enhances communication, ensuring seamless interaction between clients and lawyers to discuss case specifics efficiently.
A centralized dashboard enhances user experience by providing a clear overview of active cases, important documents, and scheduled consultations.
The platform implements stringent security protocols to ensure confidentiality, protecting user data and conversations with advanced encryption to create a secure and reliable environment for all users.

Users can access the Vakeel Online App on both Android and iOS devices by downloading it from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
