Islamabad, Nov 27: Weather Department Forecasts Light Rain and Snowfall Across Various Regions of Pakistan. According to the Met Office, a westerly wave is expected to hit the country’s western regions starting at night on November 28.
When this weather system is in effect:
Quetta, Pishin, Qilla Saifullah, Zhob, Shirani, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Ziarat, Loralai, and Dera Ghazi Khan are all predicted to see moderate rain, wind, and thunderstorms (with snowfall over the hills) on November 28 (night), November 29, and December 2. During the night of November 28 and 29, at Gawadar, Kech, Panjgur, Awaran, Kalat, Khuzdar, and Lasbella.
From the 29th (evening/night) to the 02nd (occasional gaps), Waziristan, Kurrum, Mohmand, Khyber, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Manshera, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Astore, Ghizer, Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Kotli, Haveli, and Bagh are predicted to experience light to moderate rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snowfall over the mountains).
The Pothohar region, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Mianwali, Bhakkar, and Layyah are also anticipated to have light rain or drizzle on December 29 (evening/night) and December 2.
