Islamabad, Nov 16: WhatsApp Will Remind You of Messages You Didn’t Send in New Feature Update

WhatsApp has rolled out a much-anticipated feature message draft.

This update introduces a bold green “Draft” label, displaying a preview of unfinished messages within chats.

The reminder helps users quickly locate and complete messages that were started but not sent, ensuring no important responses are overlooked.

The drafts now appear at the top of the chat list, providing easy access without the need to scroll through conversations. This new functionality aims to improve user experience by making it simpler to pick up where messages were left off. According to Engaged, the feature is now available globally.

WhatsApp, which reached 100 million monthly active users in July, has also been rolling out other enhancements, such as an integrated address book and customizable lists for better chat organization.

In addition to this, WhatsApp is working on new features spotted in the latest beta version, including a gallery shortcut for chat interfaces, redesigned communities tab, captions for GIFs, and themed icons for contacts and groups.

The platform is also testing features like muting clarification for group chats, limiting notifications to mentions, and adding chat filters to the web client.
