Islamabad, Dec 31: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has extended the winter vacation for all public and private colleges and universities in the province. The Higher Education Department has officially announced that these institutions will remain closed until January 5, 2025.
This decision follows the extension of winter holidays for schools in the region, with schools now set to reopen on January 7, 2025, instead of the previously scheduled January 2.The extension of the holidays, initially planned to end on December 31, 2024, is a response to the ongoing cold weather, prioritizing the safety and convenience of both students and staff.
