Islamabad, Dec 19: Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its flagship 15 Ultra, the latest addition to its highly anticipated lineup, following the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. Recent reports from MySmartPrice indicate that the device has been certified in China under the model number 25019PNF3C, hinting that its release is just around the corner. This certification points to the inclusion of cutting-edge technology that promises to make the 15 Ultra a standout product.

One of the most exciting features of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is its support for satellite connectivity. However, this functionality is expected to remain limited to China, as it depends on the Tiantong satellite system operated by China Telecom. The system primarily serves China and nearby regions, including parts of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. This integration reflects Xiaomi’s continued efforts to push boundaries in innovation while addressing specific regional needs.

In terms of charging technology, Xiaomi has opted to retain the reliable 90W wired charging feature for the 15 Ultra, mirroring its predecessors, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and 14 Ultra. While this may not mark a significant leap forward, it underscores Xiaomi’s confidence in the efficiency and speed of its established charging solutions.

The 15 Ultra is slated for a first-quarter 2025 launch, with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, scheduled for March 3 to 6, emerging as a likely venue for its official debut. This mirrors the launch strategy for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which was unveiled during MWC 2023. As the event approaches, Xiaomi is expected to unveil more details about the 15 Ultra, offering a closer look at its features and innovations.
