Islamabad, Oct 21: Xiaomi Unveils 1440p 180Hz Gaming Monitor Priced Under $200. The Multi-Functional Stand Edition 2025, a new model of Xiaomi’s Redmi Monitor G27Q, has been released in China. This revised model, which is targeted for both recreational and competitive gamers, has a better stand than the original.

The 27-inch monitor has a 2.5K (2560 x 1440px) LCD that supports 16.7 million colors, has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. Consistent images from various angles are guaranteed by its 178° wide viewing angle.

While the response time is as low as 1 ms, the refresh rate increases to 180 Hz to allow high FPS gaming. In order to lessen screen tearing and stuttering, it also supports AMD’s Freesync technology, which helps synchronize the frame rate between the GPU and the monitor. With a low blue light mode certified by TÜV Rheinland and DC dimming to lessen eye strain and screen flutter, user comfort is a top priority.

Along with wall-mounting capabilities, the adjustable stand provides a number of ergonomic options, such as height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. A joystick makes navigating menus easier, and incredibly small bezels optimize screen real estate.

Two DP 1.4 connectors, two HDMI 2.0 connections, and an audio port are among the available connectivity choices. With a stand, the monitor’s dimensions are 612.5 x 227.3 x 521.9 mm, and its weight is 5.6 kg. Additionally, it works with 75 x 75 VESA mounts.

The Redmi Monitor G27Q is priced at $196 in China, and it’s not clear if Pakistan will see an official debut of the device anytime soon. There are a few Xiaomi monitors available locally in Pakistan, but none of them are gaming monitors. It should have the same three-year warranty as the Chinese model if it is released in Pakistan.
