ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 9: “Brainstorm with Gemini,” a new tool being tested by YouTube, is meant to help producers come up with ideas for videos as well as titles and thumbnails.

This tool incorporates Google Gemini, an AI system created by its parent firm, Google, as announced in a video posted on its Creator Insider channel.

A representative for YouTube claims that the feature is now part of a limited experiment that is accessible to a small number of producers. Before deciding to go further with the rollout, YouTube intends to examine the input from these early users.

With this tool’s release, YouTube may have an advantage over other creator-focused social networking sites because it will have exclusive capabilities not available anywhere else.

By adding AI capabilities to its video platform, Google hopes to entice producers to use its products over those of rivals like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The “Brainstorm with Gemini” feature expands upon an AI-powered tool that YouTube tried earlier this year, offering outlines and ideas for videos based on the interests of the viewership.
With the help of this new feature, content creators may now select between the Gemini-powered option and the current inspiration tool for idea generation.

Creators taking part in the experiment can use YouTube Studio to access the feature. There, they can enter a video concept and select between Brainstorm with Gemini and the inspiration tool.

YouTube is assessing which of the two tools—the new Gemini integration or the current one—creators prefer for brainstorming video ideas.

YouTube’s project is focused on leveraging AI to improve content creation, while platforms like Instagram and TikTok are concentrating on generative AI to build digital avatars.
