ISLAMABAD, March 14: EU Mission in Pakistan with over 300 EU companies working in Pakistan is organizing an investment forum and seminar to explore more ways of investment opportunities.
Today (Friday, March 14), Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, met with Dr. Riina Kionka, the Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan, who visited the Finance Division.
Dr. Kionka mentioned that the EU had already identified over 300 European companies operating in Pakistan, with indications that the actual number might be even higher.
Ambassador Kionka extended an invitation to Senator Aurangzeb to participate in a business and investment forum that the EU Mission in Pakistan will organize in Islamabad in mid-May 2025.
The forum will serve as a platform to promote collaboration and explore ways Pakistan can continue to draw European business investments.
Dr. Kionka highlighted that European companies are increasingly recognizing Pakistan as a potential business hub, especially in anticipation of the upcoming forum.
