Islamabad, Oct 20: 9,500 Farmers to Receive Green Tractors in New Agricultural Initiative. Despite the Punjab government’s announcement that 9,500 green tractors will be distributed under the Kisan Program, over 15 lakh applications had already been received.
More than 1.5 million applications were submitted to the government under the Green Tractor Program, which was made available to farmers. According to CM office officials who spoke to APP, the list of people who will be drawn will be made public on October 20 in accordance with the Punjab CM’s instructions.
In the meantime, the application review process was finished. The relevant Patwar Circle confirmed the applicant’s land. CM Maryam Nawaz directed that the green tractor scheme be drawn as quickly as feasible.
