Islamabad, Aug 14: According to Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the province government’s top priorities are the health and education sectors. He made this statement on Wednesday during an event held in honor of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day in this city. For the Pishin district, the chief minister unveiled numerous development initiatives.
He added that the elders in this area have always been devoted to Pakistan and that the people of Pishin have backed Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He argued that college and school instructors, who receive government funding, need to be required to work and not just sit at home.
“I swear, the teachers will their schools when I come here next time,” he continued. As Pakistan is our first goal, he noted, new districts and divisions should be developed on an administrative basis. He also added that they should be established on a linguistic basis.
The chief minister also unveiled a number of improvement initiatives, such as the conversion of middle schools to high schools, the construction of a 50-bed hospital, the location of the Rescue 1122 center on the Pishin Highway, and the Balochistan University campus.
He declared that funding for local councils would quadruple and that the system of local government would be enhanced. Additionally, the chief minister of Balochistan approved a Rs. 100 million grant for the Pishin local council.
