Islamabad, 24, Apr, 2025: BYD Pakistan warns customers of temporary setbacks in vehicle deliveries due to significant transportation disruptions caused by road blockages between Punjab and Sindh.

The company issued a public advisory through its official Instagram account, alerting buyers to expect delays.

According to the notice, the suspension of inter-provincial transport routes has severely impacted the logistics network, temporarily halting the nationwide movement of vehicles.

As a result, customers awaiting the delivery of electric vehicles may experience unexpected postponements.

The notification, released in coordination with BYD’s local partner, Mega Motor Company, expressed regret over the inconvenience and extended gratitude for the public’s continued patience.

The firm emphasized that efforts are underway to restore delivery operations as swiftly as possible, once road conditions permit.

Without providing a precise timeline for resumption, BYD Pakistan warns that the evolving nature of the transport disruptions makes it challenging to offer exact updates.

However, the company reiterated its commitment to transparency, pledging to keep customers informed through verified channels.

As a rising player in Pakistan’s electric vehicle sector, BYD has been steadily expanding its footprint with a focus on sustainability and innovation. The current logistical issue, however, presents a temporary hurdle in the automaker’s service timeline.

Transportation experts note that recurring infrastructure bottlenecks and unpredictable protests across the country often strain supply chains, particularly for companies reliant on road-based delivery systems.

The current disruption serves as yet another reminder of the challenges facing the country’s transportation sector.

Despite the setback, BYD affirmed that its production and preparation activities continue unaffected. The firm stressed that once routes reopen, deliveries will resume on a priority basis.

Customers are encouraged to stay in contact with local dealerships or use BYD’s digital customer support platforms for the latest information on their orders.

The company also advised avoiding speculation from unofficial sources and relying only on updates from verified corporate communication channels.

This temporary disruption underscores the delicate balance between demand, delivery, and infrastructure in Pakistan’s fast-growing electric mobility market.

As authorities work to clear the affected highways, automakers like BYD are aiming to minimize the impact on customer satisfaction.
