Islamabad, Nov 6: CDA and Chinese Delegation Discuss Urban Development and Green Initiatives for Islamabad’s Infrastructure Growth. A Chinese delegation called on Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at CDA Headquarters on Wednesday to explore avenues for mutual cooperation and urban development in Islamabad.

The Chairman CDA warmly welcomed the delegation, highlighting the value of benefiting from Chinese expertise and experiences in advancing Islamabad’s infrastructure and sustainable urban growth. During the discussions, Chairman CDA emphasized the importance of learning from China’s development model, particularly in green initiatives and environmental sustainability.

He also outlined some of Islamabad’s ongoing and upcoming development projects and the revision of Islamabad’s Master Plan. The discussions highlighted the investment potential in Islamabad, underscoring opportunities for Chinese businesses to participate in the city’s urban planning and infrastructure development.

The meeting also focused on transforming the city into a greener, more environmentally friendly urban area. The Chinese delegation expressed their commitment to supporting Islamabad’s green initiatives and shared insights into effective carbon emission reduction measures.

They offered their expertise in reducing carbon footprints as well as in the area of urban planning and development. At the end, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed his appreciation for the Chinese delegation’s interest in supporting CDA’s initiatives and assured his full support and cooperation for future collaborations.
