Islamabad, Oct 9: CDA Chairman Addresses Electricity Issues in Park Enclave

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Tuesday instructed the relevant department to address the electricity supply issue in Park Enclave II and III.

During a meeting, the CDA chairman urged for swift decisions regarding the cancellation of allotments for those in default in Park Enclave.

He also directed the Estate Wing to resolve matters concerning Built-Up Properties (BUP) in Park Enclave, as well as E-12/1 and E-12/4.

Throughout the meeting, the Finance Wing presented a thorough briefing on the CDA Chairman Addresses Electricity Issues, emphasizing revenue generation. It was highlighted that the CDA is diligently pursuing its financial objectives for the fiscal year.

Besides auction revenues, recurring revenue streams are generating significant income.

The Member Finance also shared a comparative analysis of revenue generation across various directorates, including the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and the Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA).

The chairman stressed the importance of continuous monitoring by the Finance Wing to ensure advancements.

He instructed the Finance Wing to take a proactive approach in tracking and managing revenue generation efforts on a regular basis and achieving the established targets for the current fiscal year.

The chairman ordered notices to be sent to all public and private leaseholders whose lease agreements have expired.

The Planning Wing was instructed to prioritize the resolution of outstanding commercialization cases to streamline the CDA’s operations and revenue collection.

The Building Control Section was directed to bolster its field force structure. The chairman also emphasized the need to resolve the human resource shortages impacting the operations of both the Building Control and Estate Management Wings.

He highlighted the necessity of developing strategies for the timely recovery of outstanding revenues to ensure that development projects throughout the city remain unaffected.
