The Glade Vista Builders (Pvt) Limited-sponsored Grand Vista apartment complex, situated near the Murree Road Expressway in Zone-IV, has had its layout design annulled by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).As per the notification sent by the CDA, the layout design for the project was authorized in June 2023, provided that all processes were finished within a 30-day period.
Nevertheless, in spite of several notifications and cautions, the project developers did not carry out the approval’s terms and conditions.On March 27, 2024, the CDA sent out a show-cause notice, asking the project developers to provide justification for not taking legal action against them for noncompliance and for marketing and selling the project without authorization. But the developers didn’t reply, therefore the permission of the layout design was revoked.
Through a notice stating that the approval granted on June 23, 2023, is canceled due to non-compliance and unauthorized operations, the CDA notified Grand Vista’s administration of the cancellation. The project’s future is probably going to be impacted by this choice, therefore buyers and investors might need to reconsider their financial commitments.
