Islamabad Oct 21: CDA to accelerate the development of Sectors in Islamabad. A meeting on the development of the sectors in Islamabad was held on Monday at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
The Members of the CDA Board and senior officers from concerned formations of the authority attended the meeting. The meeting was aimed at expediting the developmental work across various sectors of Islamabad and address issues related to land and Built-Up Property (BUPs).
During the meeting, Chairman CDA stressed the need for expediting developmental work in all sectors. He directed the Engineering and Estate Wings to coordinate closely to ensure seamless execution of the development work.
The Chairman highlighted the importance of promptly resolving issues that could obstruct progress. Chairman CDA said that he will personally visit the sectors to monitor the resolution of issues and accelerate the development process.
Regarding the development of Sector C-14, the meeting was briefed that around 68 % development work has been completed while the work on culverts is in progress.The meeting also discussed to resolve possession issues of the Sector C-15 as soon as possible. The Chairman directed to address the BUPs issues in the sector.
The meeting was briefed that the major development work has already completed in Sector C-16, with only a few streets remaining for completion.The meeting was briefed that in Sector E-12, the development work is underway.
It was further briefed that in sub sector development work in E-12/1, 65% has been competed while the estimate for the remaining work is in progress. Chairman CDA has instructed the Estate Wing to ensure the acquisition of the remaining land to the Engineering Wing so that the tender can be published for the remaining development work.
The Chairman directed to hand over the possession of plots where development work has been completed. The CDA remains fully committed to accelerating Islamabad’s development of sectors, with a clear focus on timely completion and addressing issues impeding the development in these sectors.
