Islamabad, Apr 15, 2025: A significant milestone has been achieved with the completion of 1,806 homes under Punjab’s Chief Minister’s “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” initiative, accompanied by the recovery of loans amounting to Rs92.4 million.
As per an official announcement, over 22,600 houses are nearing their final stages of completion under the project.
To date, more than 25,500 families have received loans totaling over Rs27.43 billion to construct their homes.
The second loan installment has been provided to more than 12,000 families, with approval granted for an additional 2,000 loans.

The program offers loans for constructing homes ranging from one to five marlas in urban regions.
Additionally, loans are available to landowners with plots ranging from one to 10 marlas in rural areas.
Applications for these loans are being accepted online.
Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, remarked on the housing initiative’s success, stating, “In the past, numerous false commitments were made about providing homes to the people, but the PML-N leadership has successfully delivered on this promise in a remarkably short period.”
