Islamabad, 14 Apr, 2025: Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme has been officially launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government as a significant step toward helping financially vulnerable families achieve their dream of home ownership.

This landmark initiative aims to empower low-income households by providing interest-free home loans for building, repairing, or extending their existing homes.

The provincial government has earmarked a substantial fund of Rs 4 billion for this welfare-driven housing project.

To ensure affordability, the repayment system has been designed with ease in mind monthly installments will not exceed Rs 18,000, making it easier for working-class families to manage their budgets while achieving long-term housing security.

This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the housing crisis and improving living standards across the province.

To be eligible for the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme, applicants must fulfill a few essential requirements:

  • The household must have a minimum monthly income of Rs 100,000.
  • The applicant must own land where construction or renovation will take place.
  • The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 55 years.

This scheme is especially beneficial for families who already possess land but lack the financial capacity to build a home.

Whether it’s constructing a new house, renovating a deteriorating structure, or expanding to accommodate a growing family.

Those interested in applying must act promptly, as the last date to submit applications is the 8th of next month.
