ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 19: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had a meeting at the Commissioner Office in Rawalpindi on Sunday during which she assessed the public welfare initiatives of the division.
A handout issued in this regard states that the decision was made at the meeting for Chief Medical Officer Maryam Nawaz to tour various districts in order to evaluate the general state of affairs.
The Chief Minister had been asking for details on ongoing development projects for quite some time. She examined the prices of basic needs in Rawalpindi. It was decided to open “Vegetable Markets” and “Sahulat Bazaars” in Rawalpindi. The primary choice made was to increase the number of Assistant Commissioners in Rawalpindi.
The Punjabi chief minister underlined that establishing peace and security is essential for a country’s progress and that under no circumstances would the completion of tasks be disregarded.
She declared that selections made within the police department are free from political influence and that officers should show their worth by effectively discharging their duties.
