Islamabad, Sep 10: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Ravi Sapphire Bay, which is close to Sheikhupura, to monitor the progress of the ongoing development work.
According to specifics, RUDA CEO Imran Amin informed her on the River Training Work Development Plan, emphasizing that 46 km of channelization would be completed in three stages along both banks of the River Ravi. Furthermore, 36% of the project’s land is set aside for greenery and woods. Amin also disclosed the Ravi River Front Project’s intentions to build three barrages and a 46-kilometer three-way road from Siphen to Hudayara Drain.The CM looked over the building projects at Sapphire Bay and visited the locations of the River Training Works and Barrage.
