Islamabad, Sep 7: At this Army graveyard, Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed’s tomb was the site of a wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday morning in honor of the Nishan-e-Haider award.
Air Vice Marshal Aamir Shahzad, the Commanding Officer of Southern Air Command, placed a floral wreath on the Shaheed’s grave and offered Fateha.
On this occasion, a well-groomed unit of the Pakistan Air Force saluted. On this particular occasion, Air Vice Marshal Aamir Shahzad stated that September 7th serves as a reminder of the martyrs’ and Ghazis’ sacrifices made in defense of their country.
