Islamabad, Aug 31: The Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) has approved funding for nine road projects in the districts of Bhakkar and Khushab, with a total budget of PKR 960 million.
The information includes the fact that on Wednesday, Sargodha Division Commissioner Jahanzeb Awan presided over a meeting at which the consent was given. The authorized projects consist of two Khushab initiatives worth PKR 250 million and seven road building and maintenance plans for Bhakkar, with an estimated PKR 715 million. It was confirmed that these projects have received all of their financing, and that they should be finished this year.Commissioner Awan emphasized that in order to guarantee the caliber and viability of the development projects, deputy commissioners must exercise strict control.
Several officials participated in the meeting via video link, including the deputy commissioners of Khushab and Bhakkar, Director Development Bilal Hassan, SE Building, SE Local Government, SE Public Health Engineering, XEN Highways, and Deputy Director Technical.
