Islamabad, Sep 24: The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), and the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) have joined forces to launch the massive housing project “Margalla Orchards” on Park Road in Islamabad.

It was formally announced that development on the enormous 8,380-kanal plot of land, which would include 4,781 residential plots, had started. Out of these, 2,088 plots are set aside for FGEHA, or federal government employees, and the remaining plots will be used by SCBA members.

The primary aim of the project is to address the increasing need for reasonably priced accommodation in Islamabad, namely for the government workforce and the legal community. At the project’s official launch,

SCBA members reaffirmed their commitment to upholding justice and transparency by promising to fairly pay those whose land had been taken for this development. The Margalla Orchards project will undoubtedly be important to Islamabad’s expanding housing market since it would both further the city’s growth and provide homes for federal officials and legal professionals.
