Islamabad, Oct 25: Direct Flights Between Lahore and Central Asian Destination to Begin Next Month

Alisher Tukhtayev, the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, declared that direct flights between Lahore and Tashkent would likely start operating next month. The Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Chairman, Senator Irfanul Haque Siddiqui, met with him in Islamabad and he disclosed this information.

The goal of this project is to increase connectivity between the two countries, which should greatly increase trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges. Additionally, Ambassador Tukhtayev mentioned plans to extend the airline network to other important Pakistani cities.

Senator Siddiqui stressed that improved connectivity would open up important opportunities for both countries and praised the ambassador’s efforts. “Direct air links would allow both sides to explore and maximize these opportunities,” he said, referring to the enormous potential for economic and cultural cooperation between the two nations.

Additionally, senator Siddiqui expressed optimism that Tukhtayev’s term will support the ongoing development of Pakistan-Uzbekistan bilateral ties.

Direct Flights Between Lahore and Central Asian Along with the announcement of the flight, Ambassador Tukhtayev invited Senator Siddiqui and a group from the Pakistani parliament to watch the October 27 legislative elections in Uzbekistan. Senator Siddiqui emphasized the value of enhancing democratic cooperation and people-to-people interactions while thanking the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan for the invitation.

The two nations’ dedication to developing stronger ties and increased understanding is demonstrated by this diplomatic engagement.
