Islamabad, Sep 30: Dow University has released the results for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), reporting that 22,366 candidates from Sindh have passed, resulting in a pass rate of 58.79%.

The test was taken by 38,041 candidates, with 12,572 appearing at the Ojha and NED test centers. Among them, 6,947 qualified for MBBS, while 7,941 qualified for BDS.

In Punjab, the University of Health Sciences conducted the MDCAT on September 22, with 56,519 candidates participating. Notably, 48,051 candidates scored above 55%, and 51,018 exceeded 50%.

The highest score was 199 out of 200, achieved by two female students, Zainab Munir and Iqra, both earning 99.50%.

Khyber Medical University also announced its MDCAT results, with 42,300 candidates participating across six centers monitored by senior officials to ensure smooth operations. In this exam, 24,518 students qualified for BDS and 21,355 for MBBS.

Dow University Top scorers Mahboob Ali and Qaiser Ali both scored 194 marks, while 38 candidates achieved more than 190 marks. The results showed that 30% of candidates scored below 100 marks, with 658 students absent from the exam.
