Islamabad, Oct 21: DPM Dar to Participate in Commonwealth Summit in Samoa from October 21-26. The Pakistani delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will take place in Samoa from October 21 to 26, 2024, will be led by Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

According to a press release from the Foreign Office, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister will discuss Pakistan’s views on major international issues and challenges at the CHOGM, with an emphasis on economic development, climate change, and enhancing international cooperation within the Commonwealth community.

He will highlight Pakistan’s focus on skill development, digital transformation, and youth empowerment in his keynote speech at the Commonwealth Business Forum on “Transforming our Workforce.”

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Dar will meet with the leaders of delegations from other Commonwealth nations. Pakistan’s continuous dedication to the Commonwealth and its ties with Small Island Pacific Countries is demonstrated by its participation at CHOGM 2024.
