Islamabad, Sep 18: Leading provider of vocational and technical education, DTI is empowering impoverished areas via the provision of specialized training programs that provide people with the fundamental technical skills they need. These programs are a part of DTI’s larger goal to improve underprivileged populations’ employability and establish sustainable opportunities throughout the region.

DTI, an initiative of the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD) Foundation, has created a number of focused programs intended to close the skills gap for people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds because it recognizes the vital role that technical education plays in economic development.

The DTI’s tagline, “Skills for Livelihood,” represents its dedication to uplifting impoverished youth by providing them with employable and useful skills. The institute places a strong emphasis on soft skills and life skills, such as problem-solving, communication skills, health, safety, and the environment, in addition to technical skills. These courses provide practical instruction in a range of crafts, such as fabrication, welding, electrical work, and scaffolding.

By fusing academic understanding with real-world experience, DTI’s methodology guarantees that graduates are ready for the demands of the labor market. To further improve the employability of its graduates, the institute works with industry partners on a national and worldwide level to facilitate job placements.

“At DTI, our purpose extends beyond merely imparting knowledge,” stated General Manager Murtaza Ali. Our mission is to change people’s lives by giving them the tools they need to find fulfilling work and make valuable contributions to society. Our programs are designed to end the poverty cycle and have a positive knock-on effect on entire communities.

Hundreds of lives have already been touched by DTI’s programs, and many of its alumni have found employment both domestically and abroad. The work of the institute has helped communities’ economies flourish in addition to giving them the tools they need to succeed.
