Islamabad, 25 Apr, 2025: New Double-Decker travel services have officially been introduced in Faisalabad by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), offering a modern twist to exploring the region’s heritage and natural landscapes.

This latest move aims to enhance tourism accessibility for local residents, corporate teams, and visiting delegations.

Tailored for business executives, international visitors, and private event organizers, the service provides a unique opportunity to visit major attractions in and around the city aboard a stylish and comfortable double-decker bus.

Speaking on the occasion, TDCP’s Operations Manager Zakir Hussain stated that the initiative targets office personnel, factory departments, and families looking for a memorable way to celebrate special occasions like birthdays and weddings. The project, he explained, blends convenience with cultural immersion.

In addition to the Faisalabad tour, TDCP has unveiled a series of travel packages ranging from one-day excursions to three-day adventures across Punjab and the northern highlands.

Popular destinations in the short-trip itinerary include Gutwala Forest Park, Rana Resort, Chiniot, Head Balloki, Khewra Salt Mine, Katas Raj Temples, Kallar Kahar, and Changa Manga.

For travellers seeking extended retreats, the packages extend to hill stations such as Murree, Soan Valley, and Nathia Gali, promising cool climates and picturesque views.

Bookings for both the New Double-Decker service and longer-distance coach trips can be made through the TDCP’s Faisalabad office located on Club Road, Bagh-e-Jinnah.
