According to specifics, Chairman Langrial expressed his commitment to improving trader compliance and increasing revenue collection by requesting a thorough report on the Tajir Dost Scheme in a crucial instruction sent to Member Operations, Mir Badshah Khan Wazir.
FBR staff gave an outline of the organizational framework and important policy initiatives, such as the Tajir Dost Scheme and the ongoing digitization activities within the FBR, during his first briefing. These programs are essential to guaranteeing openness and updating the tax system. The Tajir Dost Scheme, which was created in conjunction with trade associations, imposed new income tax rates in 42 cities and required traders to pay taxes on a monthly basis. Strict enforcement measures will be used in the event of noncompliance, demonstrating the FBR’s commitment to upholding tax rules.
