ISLAMABAD, JULY14: In order to settle monthly tax payments under the Tajir Dost Scheme, traders and FBR representatives are getting ready for their last meeting tomorrow.
Sources with knowledge of the situation indicate that 42 cities’ Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will meet virtually to discuss and offer comments on the FBR’s suggested tax tables. Based on market segments including affluent, medium-class, and impoverished places, these tables provide the anticipated monthly tax installments for merchants, store owners, and retailers.
The goal of the talks is to complete the valuation tables, which will thereafter be suggested to the FBR for formal announcement by the following Monday. The program attempts to ensure fair and manageable tax contributions from companies across various economic zones by streamlining tax payments and classifying markets.
