Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh recently made a pointed remark after India secured a spot in the final of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

The bowling allrounder reminded Pakistan that they would not be hosting the title match, as India had already confirmed their place in the summit clash.

The final of the tournament, set for March 9, will take place in Dubai, marking India’s participation in all its matches at neutral venues.

This arrangement was made prior to the tournament, as it was decided that if India advanced beyond the group stage, their semi-final and final would be moved out of Pakistan.

In a post on X, Harbhajan humorously commented in Hindi, “First, Pakistan was out of the tournament. And now, the final is out of Pakistan.”

Pakistan’s campaign in the tournament ended in disappointment, as they became the first host nation to be knocked out. They suffered defeats to New Zealand and India, followed by a washed-out match against Bangladesh.

India, on the other hand, triumphed over Australia in the semi-final on March 4, with Virat Kohli’s crucial 84 runs guiding them to victory. India will now face the winner of the New Zealand-South Africa semi-final in the final.
