Islamabad, Oct 9: IBCC and BISE Peshawar Sign MoU to Streamline Attestation of Educational Documents. To make the process of attestation easier for students, the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has been working to link its attestation portal to the national database of BISEs so that records may be verified directly.
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary school (FBISE), the Baluchistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), and other school boards in Punjab have already been connected, according to a news statement issued by IBCC on Wednesday. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for data exchange was signed by the IBCC and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar, marking another significant accomplishment.
Through read-only access via APIs made possible by the agreement, BISE Peshawar’s data will be accessible to IBCC, expediting the attestation process through verification. Prof. Nasrullah Khan Yousufzai, Chairman of BISE Peshawar, and Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director, IBCC, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. The event was also attended by the IT teams of both businesses, the Directors of IBCC, and the Controller of BISE Peshawar.
Through this initiative, document attestation by IBCC will no longer require a physical visit to BISE Peshawar to obtain verification in a sealed envelope. Additionally, this would help students throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and open doors for other boards in the province to collaborate with IBCC.
Students would benefit financially and time-wise from this program, which offers online verification services. According to Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, students can now easily submit for attestation and have their documents validated online. He emphasized that students’ transportation expenses will be greatly reduced by the online technology, improving process efficiency.
Prof. Nasrullah Khan underlined that BISE Peshawar will serve as the hub for advising other BISEs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on technological advancements for connecting to the IBCC’s attestation portal, which will benefit every student in the province. “The online verification of educational documents will be available to students from all over the province, expediting the process for all KPK BISEs.”
Additionally, Prof. Nasrullah Khan and his group provided a detailed presentation on the creation of the Feedback Mechanism, which was created by the BISE Peshawar IT team. Based on its findings, the tool will assist the authorities in making well-informed judgments and point out areas in need of development.
Dr. Mallah stated that he plans to inform fellow IBCC forum members about BISE Peshawar’s advancements and methods, urging them to incorporate similar innovations and procedures into their boards. This program is a step in the right direction toward upgrading education-related services and assisting students in concentrating on their academic and professional objectives.
