Islamabad, Sep 27: The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) administration was ordered by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday to submit the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) questionnaire to the university’s website.
The case brought by the medical students was considered by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.Barrister Jahangir Jadoon, representing the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), stated during the hearing that in order to ensure openness, the university need to have posted the questionnaire on its website like other academic institutions. He also instructed the administration to do so right away.
The court further mandated that the students be given time to review the questionnaire prior to the university announcing the test results on Saturday after 1 p.m. The court declared that a more thorough order would be issued at a later time.
