Islamabad, Aug 7: The Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to launch a new bus service called “No Fare No Barrier” in an important effort to boost the education industry and make it easier for female teachers and students to commute on a regular basis. As part of this program, 20 pink buses will run on designated routes throughout Islamabad to make the trip from rural to urban areas easier.

The buses are reserved especially to make things easier for female teachers and pupils. The following routes have been designated:

Route 1-A: F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS from Nilore

Route 1-B: Secretariat to Nilore (Ziarat Stop)

Route 2-A: via F-6, from Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS

Route 2-B: via G-6, from Bhara Kau to F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS

Route 3-A: Secretariat to Humak

Route 3-A: Secretariat to Humak

Route 3-B: F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS to Humak

Route 4-A: Secretariat to I-14 (IJP Road)

Route 4-B: F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS to I-14 (IJP Road)

Route 5-A: Margalla Avenue to Secretariat via B-17

Route 5-B: Take GT Road, G-14, from B-17 to the Secretariat.

In order to enhance convenience for female teachers and pupils, the buses will run during school hours. The afternoon service will be offered from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, and the morning operations will run from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. With this timetable in place, instructors and kids will have less waiting time because it is made to coincide with school hours.
